As boys grow up they cannot wait for the day that they begin to grow facial hair. However, little girls never dream of such a thing. Unfortunately, for many women it is an issue they deal with on a daily basis. No one likes to talk about it because they are embarrassed.
There are options to remove the hair permanently, but these options will cost you. Laser hair removal and electrolysis can be a wonderful option. For many women, this isn’t an option that they can afford. So simple at home treatments can allow you to feel a little more womanly.
Shave – Many women fear that shaving the hair will cause it to grow back darker and thicker. Although the hair does appear to be thicker and darker, it really isn’t. What happens is the fine tip of the hair is removed. The flat tip makes it give a fuller appearance.
Bleaching – If your mustache is thin bleaching may be your best option. You can buy a bleaching kit just about anywhere. This option is also quick and painless.
Tweeze – Tweezing can be the answer. If you have a few stray hairs you can quickly tweeze them away. How often you need to tweeze depends on your hair growth. The first few times will sting a little. Luckily, your skin will grow used to it after a few times.
Waxing – Although waxing can be painful, it is a very popular form of hair removal that is rather effective. Many women choose this option because the results can last for weeks. There are many different wax products on the market; be sure to follow directions on the packaging.
Depilatory Cream – A pain-free way to remove the unwanted hair is with depilatory cream. Be sure you use a product that is made for the face. The cream is simply applied and left on for a few minutes. The cream eats through the hair shaft. Then you simply wipe the cream and hair from the skin. If you have sensitive skin you should make sure the product is for sensitive skin or do not use it at all. If the skin is irritated or cut, do not use a depilatory cream.
There are many options available to you for the removal of unwanted hair. Some methods are more effective than others. Choose a method that you are comfortable with so you can say goodbye to that stubborn facial hair.
